Welcome Travelocity customers!
Thank you for choosing British Airways. You can now save time at the airport by checking in online and choosing the best available seat from our interactive seating plan, between 23 and two hours before departure from North American gateways.

Customers departing on British Airways flights from all US and Canadian gateways can now save valuable time by printing their own boarding pass when checking in online.

When using Online Check-in, passengers will be able to select their seat and print their boarding pass before arriving at the airport, using their home or office printer, saving time and making for an easier journey through the airport.   Travellers with hand baggage can then go straight to security and through to the boarding gate or departure lounge.

Those travellers with bags to check in can also print their own boarding pass, and then deliver their bags to a Fast Bag Drop upon arrival at the airport.

If you are not able to print your boarding pass, you can simply collect your boarding pass from a Self-Service Check-in kiosk and check-in any hold baggage at the Fast Bag Drop desk.

Fast Bag Drop
Fast Bag Drops are dedicated specifically for passengers who have used Online Check–in or a Self–Service Check–in kiosk. For details on where our Self–Service Check–in kiosks and Fast Bag Drops are available, please click here

Who can use Online Check-in
Customers who have booked directly with Travelocity can use Online Check-in provided they are checking in for a British Airways operated flight.
All customers via Manage My Booking (from 24 hours before scheduled departure time).
Passengers on any ticket type e.g. e–ticket, cardboard ticket, paper ticket.
Online Check-in is not available for passengers with bookings that contain children or infants as British Airways needs to ensure children and infants are seated in appropriate areas on-board the aircraft for their own safety.

Please note, each passenger will be required to check in individually.

Advance Passenger Information (API)
From 4 October 2005, US Government legislation requires all passengers to supply Advance Passenger Information (API) when traveling into or out of the United States.

All passengers entering or departing the US must supply name, gender, date of birth, country of residence, and passport details (number, expiration date & country of issue). Additionally passengers in possession of a Green Card must supply the serial number.

Passengers entering the US who do not possess a US passport or Green Card must supply a destination address in the US, or transit details where duration of stay in the US will be less than 8 hours.

Failure to provide the API details before arriving at the airport may result in passenger inconvenience:

Passengers may be unable to check in on-line.
Passengers who check in using a Self-Service Check-in Kiosk may face a significant delay at the boarding gate.
Passenger check-in times may be substantially increased.
Passengers who do not supply all required information may be denied travel.

Customers who wish to take advantage of entering their API details and using Online Check-in should proceed as follows:

1.  Retrieve your booking through Manage My Booking on ba.com.
2.  Click on the 'Check in now' button to check in the first passenger. If there is more than one passenger on the booking, each passenger must be checked in individually.
3.  Confirm the flight details which will be pre-filled, and complete the check-in process. If you are travelling from an airport enabled for online boarding pass printing, you will be provided with a link to do so.
4.  At the end of the check-in process, (this will either be on the 'Confirmation' or the 'Boarding Pass' page) there will be a link at the bottom of the page allowing you to return to 'Manage My Booking', for the next passenger to be checked in.
5.  Click on the red 'Print Boarding Pass' button.
6.  Your boarding pass will appear on your screen.
7.  Print.
8.  Click 'Exit'.
