Changes to tier point earning on Tel Aviv route
A change took place to British Airways Club tier points available on the Tel Aviv route, which took effect for all eligible flights taken on 30-31 March 2025. The change was a result of the route moving to our short-haul network.
Tier points available on eligible flights between London Heathrow and Tel Aviv were awarded as follows:
Long haul tier points were earned on eligible flights taken on or before 29 March 2025.
Short haul tier points were earned on eligible flights taken on 30-31 March 2025.
Economy Lowest (Q, O, G)
- Long haul tier points earned: 20
- Short haul tier points earned: 10
Economy Low (K, L, M, N, S, V)
- Long haul tier points earned: 35
- Short haul tier points earned: 20
Economy Flexible (Y, B, H)
- Long haul tier points earned: 70
- Short haul tier points earned: 40
Business Lowest (R, I)
- Long haul tier points earned: 140
- Short haul tier points earned: 80
Business Flexible (J, C, D)
- Long haul tier points earned: 140
- Short haul tier points earned: 80

Tier points awarded from 1 April 2025
On 1 April 2025, we changed the way you earn tier points on British Airways flights on all routes, including between London and Tel Aviv. Tier points are now based on the price of your flight, rather than the distance you fly.
