Flights from London Heathrow to Palermo Falcone–Borsellino Airport and flights from London Gatwick to Catania–Fontanarossa Airport both take around three hours.

Once you touch down in Palermo Falcone-Borsellino Airport, you can catch a bus or taxi and reach your destination in under an hour. If you’re travelling to Catania-Fontanarossa Airport, you can reach your destination in just 20 minutes by bus or taxi. If you’re staying in Taormina, there’s a direct bus or taxi transfer service from Catania-Fontanarossa Airport.

Citizens of the UK and Ireland and EU passport holders do not need a visa to visit Italy, but they will need to hold a valid UK passport with at least six months validity.
