Tel Aviv’s hotels, restaurants and nightlife often come at a premium – especially if you stick to the seafront. However, there are great options to suit every budget when it comes to the city’s excellent food options.

Getting around Tel Aviv and beyond is easy thanks to its network of buses and the light rail system. You can also walk around the compact city centre with its flat terrain and pleasant seafront promenades.

The city’s usual transport systems pause on Friday nights and Saturdays during the Jewish Sabbath. In their place, free bus services run across the city and taxis are available as usual.
