The Magic City has a busy calendar of events lined up for 2025. Miami is hosting one of Formula One’s six sprint races in May as well as opening the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup in June. 4. Philadelphia – USA

The Pennsylvanian city will be thrust into the sporting spotlight this year when Franklin Field hosts the Grand Slam Track – headed by legendary sprinter Michael Johnson – which will see many of the world’s fastest athletes race against each other. This year Orlando sees the opening of Universal’s latest thrilling theme park Epic Universe, which paves the way for no fewer than three new hotels, including Universal Stella Nova with its cosmic-inspired rooms, Universal Helios Grand Hotel with unique views of the park and Universal Terra Luna Resort with unparalleled facilities for families.

From May 2025, British Airways will serve Olbia Airport from London City. Sardinia’s serene beauty will soon be more accessible thanks to this new route, and you can relax in style at the freshly renovated Romazzino Hotel. Now part of the Belmond group, the hotel offers stunning seascapes on the Costa Smerelda, exquisite chef-led gastronomy and wellness facilities inspired by nature.
10. Seattle – USA

Celebrating 45 years of travel with British Airways the Pacific Northwest’s biggest and brightest city has a raft of exciting events lined up for 2025. Kicking things off Seattle will host six games in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup. On a musical note, the city’s biggest arenas will see concerts by the likes of Teddy Swims, Dua Lipa and Kelsea Ballerini. The celebrations continue with a newly refreshed lounge offering many brand-new features.

In May 2025 British Airways launches a new route to Rimini, with three weekly flights.
