Barcelo Lanzarote Royal Level is an exclusive area located within the Lanzarote Active Resort. You’ll have access to a separate buffet, pool and bar, as well as the plethora of activities at Active. These include an Olympic-sized pool, a gym, a cycling centre and a spa. Children can let off steam at the kids’ club, playground and kids’ pools – one of which has slides, while grown-ups put their feet up by the infinity pool with a cocktail.
This hotel is situated in Costa Teguise, 400 metres from the small but charming bay of Playa El Ancla. The old town of Teguise is under two miles from the resort, where a bustling, local market is held every Sunday. Here, hundreds of stalls sell everything from fashionable goods to artisan crafts and local produce. Families will love the sizable Aquapark Costa Teguise with its thrilling slides – including the adrenaline-fuelled Kamikaze, paintball and kids' go-karts. Take an organised tour to the dramatic black moonscape, lava formations at Timanfaya National Park. After which, head over to the natural oven at the entrance to the cafe for barbecue food, cooked directly on the grill – heated by the volcanic stone. Lanzarote Airport is just under eight miles from the hotel.
