Set just in front of the lake, bordered by white sun loungers and umbrellas, the semi-circle sand-bottom pool provides a unique spot for relaxation. Towering palms surround the two other pools which are linked by a sunbathing bridge otherwise, stop by the tranquil adult-only pool, sinking into a sumptuous day bed for two. The award-winning adult-only Soma Spa, 'The Refined', offers invigorating Turkish and Roman baths as well as Greek-inspired treatments combined with products by renowned brand Elemis. Here you’ll also find an indoor pool, relaxation garden and gym. They run fitness classes on the lake pergola and sunrise yoga sessions, too.

Walk or cycle alongside olive, almond and fig trees on the resort’s nature trails, which span five kilometres. Otherwise, cruise around the resort lake in a pedalo or canoe, and continue your exploration of the Algarve with olive oil and wine tasting experiences. The ‘famous six’ golf courses of Vilamoura are within 12 miles of the resort, including the Dom Pedro Old Course, Dom Pedro Millennium, Victoria, Pinhal and Laguna golf courses. The concierge team are also on hand to assist with booking tee times, local restaurant reservations and nearby island excursions.

Younger guests, aged 4 to 12, can retreat to the kids’ club, which provides Ofsted-standard supervision. They can also plant their own flowers and herbs, while learning about healthy eating and sustainability at the KiEPOS learning garden. There’s a creche available, too.

If you’re staying in an Absolute Suite, Emerald Retreat, Sapphire Family Retreat or Tropical Family Retreat, you’ll also have Haute Living Selection benefits, which includes access to an exclusive lounge from 10:00 to 23:00. The Haute Living Lounge provides complimentary hot and cold snacks throughout the day, as well as fruit, salads and traditional delicacies. Teas, coffees, beers, branded wines, soft drinks and juices are also available, as are branded spirits in the evenings. In addition, the lounge features dedicated concierge, high-speed Wi-Fi, tablets, magazines and coffee table books.

This hotel brings a Portuguese flavour to its celebrated Mediterranean menus at all five of its eateries. Start your day with a tempting buffet breakfast at Gustatio Restaurant, which also serves Portuguese comfort food and showstopping desserts. Tuck into Greek seafood paired with a carefully selected list of Greek wines at the Topos restaurant, led by Executive Chef Dionysios Pliatsikas. Sat atop the water, Blend offers a tempting tasting menu featuring fresh sushi and steaks. Blending the bold flavours of Peru and Japan, this restaurant serves up a delightfully original dining experience that’s seriously memorable. Dine at Acosta by Olivier Algarve, for the freshest fish dishes crafted with premium Portuguese ingredients and modern culinary flare. This beachside eatery sits directly on the beach Praia de Falesia. Open daily, it’s the perfect spot for a breezy lunch or dinner. Please note, reservations are required and can be made via the hotel's Guest Relations team. Perched right on the beach with stunning sunset views, SORA - Adults Only Area (open from June 2025 until September 2025) offers a relaxed, one-of-a-kind dining experience, serving up tasty, food truck style sushi and light bites. Centrally located between pools, the Estrella World Street Food serves up the best of Greek and Portuguese flavours with a fabulously indulgent street food-style menu to the pool bar at Domes Lake Algarve.

If you're a non-Haute Living Section guest, you'll still wake up to a complimentary breakfast included in your stay. The standard half board package is also available at a supplement and includes a daily American buffet breakfast and a daily International buffet dinner – both served in Gustatio Restaurant (main restaurant). Drinks not included. All half board guests that wish to dine around, may do so by receiving EUR 20 credit per adult and EUR 10 credit per child against their meal supplement, to be deducted from their a la carte dinner bill (Acosta by Olivier Algarve is excluded from this offer). The dine around offer is also not applicable during special themed evenings such as BBQ night.

If you’re staying in Haute Living Selection accommodation, you'll automatically enjoy the half board package which includes access a daily American Buffet Breakfast served in Gustatio Restaurant and a daily International Buffet Dinner – both served in Gustatio Restaurant (main restaurant). Drinks not included. As part of your package, you'll also receive the aforementioned dine around credit.

Those staying for a minimum five nights are also entitled to one three-course a la carte dinner and for a minimum ten nights’ stay, you can enjoy two, three-course dinners. These are on an la carte Dine Around basis (some items excluded) of your choice (pre booking required). Drinks not included. If you wish, you can also swap your a la carte evening meal for an a la carte lunch (three-course) at Estrella World Street Food instead (bookings required and subject to availability). Please note that these inclusions do not apply for the 31 December 2024, instead a compulsory NYE buffer dinner supplement will apply. Please also note that Acosta by Olivier Algarve is excluded from the half board lunch swap option and you will also be unable to use any half board credit at this outlet.

In case of force majeure, health, manning, occupancy levels or other constraints, the hotel maintains the right to change the assigned ΗB restaurants or the HB dinner style to buffet, without prior notice.
