Overview

The modern, all-inclusive Mitsis Alila Resort & Spa stretches along Faliraki Beach on Rhodes’ east coast. The pristine grounds offer direct beach access, a large main pool and a separate kids’ pool with water slides. Mitsis Alila Resort & Spa is around six miles from the island’s capital, Rhodes Town. It’s here that you can discover the cobblestone alleyways and ancient ruins of the old town, or indulge at an array of upscale shops and waterfront restaurants in the new town. You can also visit the Medieval Grand Masters Palace and Archaeological Museum in the old quarter of Rhodes Town. Rhodes International Airport is around 12 miles from the hotel.

The main saltwater pool overlooks the swaying palm trees, beach and Mediterranean Sea. It’s surrounded by wooden pergolas with sun loungers, just a short stroll away from the Pool Bar. Complimentary sunbeds and parasols are also available on the beach, where you can take advantage of beachside waiter service.

Children can splash in a second pool with water slides or spend time in the outdoor playground. There’s also a supervised kids' club for 4 to 11-year-olds, which opens daily from 10:00 to 17:00. It's here that children can participate in fun activities, games, sports and handicrafts, before dancing at the mini disco in the evening, from 20:00 to 21:00. Teenagers might prefer hanging out in the games room, which features electronic consoles (available for a supplement charge). There’s also a family-friendly entertainment programme with competitions, live music and shows.

Sports facilities include a tennis court, beach volleyball nets, a large fitness centre and a water sports centre (available for an additional charge). The resort boasts eight high-quality, a la carte restaurants and six bars. At Main Restaurant, you can dine in an elegant dining room or on the expansive terrace with sea views. This all-day restaurant serves American and local buffet-style dishes with live show cooking.

For authentic Greek cuisine, look no further than Ellinadiko, which opens for lunch and dinner. You can also visit Ouzeri for Greek-inspired meze dishes at lunchtime, or indulge your tastebuds with a gyro from Pitta Corner. Burger and Pizza on the Beach both open in the daytime, and you can give in to sweet cravings at Creperie, which serves ice creams, waffles, pancakes, crepes and Nespresso coffee.

Savour classic wood-fired pizzas and pasta dishes at Italian, or feast on Mexican fare at Tex-Mex. Meanwhile Pan-Asian offers a diverse dinner menu with dishes from Japan, Vietnam and beyond.

Afternoon tea is served at the indoor pool each day, and you can order a variety of drinks at the Beach Bar, Pool Bar and All Day Bar. In the evening, Night Bar is the place to relax with an aperitif. Adults can also enjoy drinks at the elegant Champagne Bar, while wine lovers sip local and international wines at Wine Bar.
