Relish the soothing sauna and steam room, and soak in the bubbling Jacuzzi (subject to extra cost). Don’t miss the selection of massages, facials or pedicures, which will get you beach ready in no time.

You can also have a go at workshops – from rum tasting and mixology to indulgent chocolate tasting. Once the evening hits, live music is also on offer.

Dining information

The hotel’s 12 dining venues and nine bars spoil you with plenty of choice. Make the most of the three buffet restaurants including Blue Lagoon, which offers continental breakfast and lunch al fresco with a side of sea views. Negril also serves a vast selection for breakfast and fail-safe favourites, like pasta and grilled meats for dinner. Meanwhile, Mo’Bay is open all day and sizzles Jamaican classics like coconut fish to perfection.

For snacking, head to Miss Lou – the on-site cafe, which brews coffees and teas all day and tempts with flaky pastries. If lunch is calling, visit Sunset Cove Jerk Hut or Las Brisas Jerk Hut – both of which are by the beach and serve mouthwatering jerk chicken and pork. A la carte options are also available for lunch at Poseidon, where Mediterranean-style seafood and pina coladas reign supreme. You can grab a spot here for dinner, too, when sunset views provide the perfect ambience.

When dinner time rolls around, you have many options. Xaymaica proudly cooks local Caribbean dishes like curried chicken with pineapple chutney, while Bhogali tempts you with Indian cuisine – from biryanis to samosas. Mexican flavours like enchiladas are on offer at La Adelita. Plus, classic Italian pizzas and pastas await at Portofino. If steakhouse vibes appeal, El Dorado’s ribeye steaks are sure winners. Alternatively, reserve your spot at the Japanese-inspired Sumptuori, for theatrical teppanyaki live show cooking.

Once you’re after some refreshments, visit the Blue Lagoon Swim-Up Bar for pre-lunch cocktails and drinks. You can also hop over to Kool Shady Bar in between the main pool and kids’ pool, where you can treat the whole family to coconut drinks. Roselle Bar is also right by the main pool, while Las Brisas Bar is next to the beach. For more beach vibes, take advantage of Mento Bar, which is by the aptly named Sunset Beach. The sports fans will love Xtra Time Sports Bar, where burgers, beers and a flurry of sports flash across the screen. In addition, Habits Healthy Bar strives to provide a health kick with smoothies and fruit bowls in the spa during the afternoon. As the sun descends, the Theater Bar comes alive with live performances, as does the Infinity Terrace and Bar. Relax with a Cuba Libre in hand, as the live music accompanies the tangerine-hued sunset views.
