Overview
Borgo Santandrea is perched 90 metres above sea level, like a discerning seabird that’s decided to stay a while. A private beach, romantic rooms and delicious dining count among its Amalfi Coast charms. Sensibly letting what’s outside do the talking, the interiors are a serene, sophisticated vision of white and blue, with pearly marble, neutral hues and glittering glass singing the high notes. The hotel has a trio of restaurants in the works: Alici, the pretty patio restaurant with winsome sea views; La Libreria, which doubles up as a library by day and a drinking and dining den by night (at 6pm, a curtain is pulled aside to reveal the hidden kitchen); and the sun-soaked Beach Club.
