More benefits when you fly with Aer Lingus

Flying with Aer Lingus is now even more rewarding for Executive Club Members.

You can already collect Avios whenever you fly with Aer Lingus.

Since April, you've also been able to earn Tier Points as part of our partnership with airlines operating across the Atlantic.

Now, if you fly between the USA, Canada, Mexico, Europe and Israel, our Bronze, Silver and Gold Members can get priority check-in and boarding.

Plus Silver and Gold Members receive priority security1, additional baggage allowance and lounge access2.

How does it work?

Bronze Members:

  • Priority check-in for everyone on the booking
  • Priority boarding for everyone on the booking

Silver and Gold Members:

  • Priority check-in for everyone on the booking
  • Priority boarding for everyone on the booking
  • Priority security for you plus one1
  • Lounge access for you plus one2
  • Extra baggage allowance

Bronze, Silver and Gold members can use the Premium or Business Class check-in area when travelling on Aer Lingus-operated flights.

Priority Security will be provided at the airports below for the Member plus one guest when travelling on Aer Lingus-operated flights as part of a transatlantic itinerary:

  • Dublin
  • Shannon
  • London Heathrow
  • Amsterdam
  • Belfast
  • Birmingham 

Lounge access will be provided at the lounges shown on the Aer Lingus website (excluding Barbados) for a Member plus one guest when travelling on Aer Lingus-operated flights as part of a transatlantic itinerary:

Silver Members will get one additional bag at 23kg when travelling on Aer Lingus-operated flights in Economy, excluding EI Saver Fares.

Gold Members will get one additional bag at 23kg when travelling in any cabin on Aer Lingus-operated flights. For EI Business class, an additional piece up to 32kg is allowed but the combined weight must not exceed 96kg.

Bronze, Silver and Gold Members will be invited for Priority Boarding and may use the Priority Boarding lanes.

As Aer Lingus are not part of oneworld, FFP1/2/3 is used to internally recognise both British Airways and Aer Lingus elite status members.

Set up a free Household Account with up to six other people in your household, including children.

You'll be able to pool your Avios to bring those rewards even closer.

What are Avios and Tier Points?

As a Member of the Club, you'll collect two different types of points - Avios and Tier Points.

Avios — for spending on rewards Tier Points — for moving through the tiers of the Club
Avios are collected on flights with British Airways and our oneworld® airlines partners as well as a wide range of other purchases. Tier Points are collected on flights with British Airways and our oneworld airlines partners.
Avios can be spent on flights and upgrades. Tier Points cannot be spent, but you move automatically through the membership tiers of the Club when you have enough of them.
Avios can be bought and shared. Tier Points cannot be bought or shared.
Avios expire only if your balance is inactive for three years. Tier Points reset every year.
