Overview

With a generous all-inclusive plan, fresh decor, two infinity pools and a palm-fringed beachfront position, adult-only Secrets Tides Punta Cana provides the perfect recipe for a holiday in the Dominican Republic. A host of entertainment options include live performances at the outdoor theatre, and nine dining options – all included in the all-inclusive plan – give you plenty of choice when hunger strikes. The Preferred Club accommodation provides the option to upgrade for exclusive access to an additional pool, lounge and bar.

The resort is situated on almost 250 metres of palm-lined beachfront in Punta Cana’s Uvero Alto. It’s a secluded village offering a handful of restaurants and bars, as well as a small shopping centre. The attractions of Punta Cana are approximately 25 miles from here. Punta Blanca Golf Club is 12 miles away, and Bavaro Adventure Park is 21 miles to the south-east, where you can zipline, dip in waterfall pools and explore the terrain on a buggy. Punta Cana Airport is 25 miles away.

Dining information

Six a la carte restaurants, one buffet restaurant, a cafe and grill are found here, and you can dine at all with the all-inclusive plan, with no reservations required. For all-day dining, Market Cafe hosts an international buffet with a variety of local and international cuisine, as well as late night bites. When you’re spending sunny days on the beach, Casual Barefoot Cafe is on hand to offer burgers and hot dogs. In the evenings, choose from Mexican cuisine at El Terrace, Italian classics at Portofino or Mediterranean and East Asian fusion dishes at Meraki. A feast of South American flavours are served at the stylish Tierra restaurant – be sure to try the melt-in-the-mouth steak, while the alfresco Oceana offers a delicious menu of seafood. It's also the perfect spot for a leisurely breakfast, where you can enjoy eggs cooked to order, fresh fruit and tempting sweet treats. Please note that this restaurant offers breakfast and dinner to all guests, while lunch is offered exclusively to Preferred Club guests. Seaside Grill is an a la carte steakhouse open to all guests in the evening, offering premium meat cuts straight off the grill.

A multitude of bars include the Manatees pool bar, Sugar Reef bar, Sports bar and the Theatre bar. You’ll also find Coco Cafe open 24-hours in the lobby, serving premium coffees and snacks.

If you stay in Preferred Club accommodation, you’ll also have access to the Preferred Club Lounge Bar and the Preferred Club Pool Bar, located beside the exclusive pool.
