Overview
Manchebo Beach Resort & Spa is an intimate, boutique hotel, located on the breathtaking powder white sands of Eagle Beach, along Aruba’s western coastline. This peaceful, retreat boasts an outdoor spa, daily complimentary yoga classes, four restaurants – including a Japanese sushi bar, and 72 contemporary ocean or garden view rooms and an optional all-inclusive plan.
Set within stunning, landscaped tropical gardens, this two-storey, beachfront resort lies along the quieter, southern edge of the Low Rise hotel zone. It’s positioned on an enviable stretch of Eagle Beach – one of the widest beaches of Aruba, known for its soft white sand, calm, turquoise waters and palm trees. Beyond the beach, and just over three miles away, is the famous Palm Beach strip with its shops, casinos and restaurant, as well as two of the nation’s largest shopping malls. Within walking distance is The Links at Divi Aruba Golf Course, where golf enthusiasts can tee off at the nine-hole course. Further afield is the rugged, natural landscape of Conchi and its Natural Pool – it’s approximately ten miles from the resort, on Aruba’s east coast, only accessible on foot or via a 4x4 wheel vehicle. Queen Beatrix International Airport is under six miles away.
The hotel’s relatively small number of rooms are housed within four ocean-facing buildings, no taller than the coconut trees that surround them. Each room is warmly decorated with dark, cherry wood furniture, complemented with fabrics using a neutral colour palette and a splash of soft blue. Modern touches include flat-screen televisions, mini-refrigerators and free Wi-Fi, while the en-suite marble bathroom features fluffy robes, slippers, premium bath amenities and a zero-entry shower with rainfall showerhead. All rooms feature an ocean or garden view with a balcony or terrace. The hotel’s hidden gems are Deluxe Garden View rooms which look out onto a landscaped, secluded garden area, with iguanas, rock waterfalls, flowering plants and buddha statues.

Dining information
The resort offers four on-site a la carte restaurants. Ike’s Bistro serves a daily a la carte breakfast and a Mediterranean inspired dinner. It’s open air and poolside, with a relaxed vibe and bar area for evening drinks and live music performances. For lunch, head over to the casual beachside Pega-Pega Café & Beach Bar for fish tacos, fresh salads, paninis and burgers. Pop your orange flag in the sand to signal to your beach waiter that you’re ready for lunch or a cocktail. The hotel’s most formal restaurant is the indoor Chophouse at Manchebo. It’s a fine dining option offering a menu of the finest cuts of beef, fresh caught Caribbean fish, local delicacies and international favourites. Tucked away in the Chophouse bar area is a small but dedicated sushi bar section, Omakase, that is open for dinner five nights a week.
