The circular main pool sits between the sea and lagoon, close to the main building. On the opposite end of the resort, is the family pool – complete with water games and shallow waters. Just a few metres from here are the kids’ clubs, family rooms, and an additional children’s splash pool with slides and waterjets.

Soothe any aches and pains in the spa. Here you’ll find several treatment rooms, a relaxation area, a lagoon-facing tea room, a hair salon and outdoor palapas. Treat yourself with a stress-melting massage, a youth-giving facial or a moisturising flower petal bath. Then, sweat out any toxins in the unique Temazcal – a traditional sweat lodge originating from indigenous Mesoamerica (which looks a bit like a brick igloo).

You’ll find plenty of ways to stay active here. Pickleball, group archery lessons, sunset cycling, group walks and runs, basketball, volleyball, petanque, yoga, Zumba, dance lessons, mini-golf and a cardio training – to name a few. When the weather allows, there are plenty of water sports too, including paddleboarding, catamaran sailing (group lessons), kayaking, snorkelling, aqua fitness and water polo. Entertainment ranges from local performances and DJ sets to table tennis, cookery lessons and wine tasting (at an extra cost).

The soft sandy beaches, warm waters and kid-friendly pools make this a paradise for exploration and play. With the warm greeting and the age-targeted kids’ clubs, children will make memories they’ll cherish forever. Kids can partake in talent shows, group games, treasure hunts, archery lessons and so much more. There’s a chargeable babysitting service for those that need it, and there are child friendly menus available in the restaurants.

Dining information

La Hacienda is the main buffet restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with views over the lagoon. Cuisine ranges from Mexican flavours to international favourites spread across five themed serving areas. Its situation in the heart of the resort makes it easy to get to, no matter what room you’re staying in.

Succulent steak cooked just the way you like it is on the menu at The Estancia. Grab an Argentinian Malbec from the wine cellar and watch the waves as you dine in this Argentinian-inspired restaurant.

Under the thatched roof of Taco Arte, dive into Mexican dishes from the a la carte menu, or simply admire the ocean with a cocktail in the bar area. For a lighter snack and family fare, The Creperie serves crepes, hot dogs, salads, sandwiches and much more.

You’re never far from a bar here. Soluna and Las Velas are placed by the main pool area, while La Marina serves family-friendly refreshments by the family pool. For the best sea views, Taco Arte is the place to be –, or, for a greater wine selection, La Bodega has its own cellar.
