Dining information
The resort caters for all palates with 11 tempting restaurants and seven refreshing bars. You'll also have full access to all the restaurants and bars at Moon Palace Nizuc.
Located in the central lobby, Bugambilias is an easy choice for breezy buffet breakfasts with an array of international plates. Stop by in the evenings, too, for a spread of fuss-free Mexican flavours. Savour the culinary delights of the Yucatan Peninsula, a la carte, at Riviera Maya. Morning, noon and night, this clubhouse eatery serves up top-notch dishes and great golf course vistas. Afternoons are best spent at Smoked. Tucked next to the Flowrider®, this Texan-style BBQ spot promises easy lunch options. The crepes and paninis at Cafe Bistro are also great for a midday bite. Head to Pepe’s Pizza on the Gondola Terrace or Poolside Pizza for deliciously wood-fired dough, topped with all your favourites. As evening rolls around, seven a la carte spots open their doors. Grab a seat at Momo for an Asian-inspired menu and tantalising Teppanyaki, bask in bold flavours at Agra or order from Trattoria for a taste of authentic Italian. Perfectly grilled bites are on the menu at the Palapa Asadero or head to Pier 8 for more poolside dining.
Nestled right next the mouth of the golf course, the 19th Hole Bar is ideal for a pre-game tipple and light bites. Whether you’re coming or going, the Lobby Bar is lively with music performances and bar bites. Down by the pool Los Columpios Bar serves you late morning to early afternoon, while VIP Lounge Bar keeps things chilled down on the sands. Take things up a notch at the Sky Bar or the Noir Night Club – open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
Vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options are available throughout the resort, and you should contact the Public Relations desk upon arrival if you have any food allergies.
Please note, all dinner restaurants accept reservations, which can be made through the resort's mobile app (starting from the day of check-in). Reservations are optional, guests who arrive at a dining venue without a reservation and if availability permits, will still be accommodated. Buffet-style restaurants are excluded from this reservation system.
Additional information
Please note that bare feet, water shoes, swimsuits and sleeveless shirts are not permitted in any restaurant. Some a la carte restaurants have a smart-casual dress code, where gentlemen are expected to wear full-length trousers or tailored shorts with a collared shirt or polo shirt.
A floating barrier has been installed out at sea, to enclose the beach at Moon Palace Cancun and prevent sargassum seaweed from reaching the shore.
We strongly recommend that transfers are booked in this destination. Transfers must be booked as additional items, for which separate vouchers will be required.
