Lentaba Safari Lodge is in the Lalibela Game Reserve in the malaria-free Eastern Cape. It is known as the lodge on the hillside and features a large lounge, a viewing deck and a swimming pool where days of being sun-kissed are promised. The lodge overlooks a waterhole and in the evening it is spot lit and you can see the nocturnal creatures making their way there to drink. Morning and sunset game drives are the highlights at Lentaba Safari Lodge and you have the opportunity to see the Big Five as well as hippo, crocodile, warthog and zebra. An outdoor boma completes this perfect safari picture with meals under starry skies and beside a roaring fire.

Directions from Port Elizabeth Airport:Contact numbers: +27 (0) 87 550 1885. After hours: +27 (0) 41 581 8170. Gate Times: opens at 8h00 and closes at 17h00 daily. Leave the airport turn left at the roundabout. Take the first exit left from the roundabout. Go over the narrow gauge railway line. At the first set of traffic lights, turn right into Heugh Road and continue straight down Heugh Road towards the sea. At the fourth set of traffic lights on Heugh Road (next to the fire station), turn left onto the M4 elevated highway. Continue on the M4, past the harbour on your right. Keep driving until you see the N2 Grahamstown sign, which will lead you onto the N2 in the direction of Grahamstown. After about 51 km you will come to a large 'spaghetti' junction. Follow the signs for N2 Grahamstown. Drive along the N2 until you cross the Bushman's River. After 13 km you will see the signpost for Lalibela Game Reserve on your left. Turn in through the gates and turn left, report to reception. Lalibela Game Reserve Main Gate closes at 17h00. Make sure that you are checking in before 17h00 or phone the Lodge to advise them what time you will be checking in so that they are aware.
Lodge is 25 km from Grahamstown which has a lot of historical churches and buildings.
