There’s a large free-form pool here as well as a separate children’s pool. Stroll down to the sands to the calm water sports area, protected by an offshore breakwater. Here you can try your hand at catamaran sailing, windsurfing, stand up paddleboarding and kitesurfing (charges apply).

Back on land, play beach volleyball, badminton and basketball. You can strike up a match on nine tennis courts or improve your serve at tennis school. For more traditional exercise, head to the gym or indoor cycling room. Fitness classes, including Pilates, yoga, strength training and dance, are on offer, too. Later, reward yourself after with a massage or Ayurveda treatment at the spa, which is also home to an indoor relaxation pool, three saunas, a steam bath and wellness garden.

If you’re travelling with babies, contact the resort beforehand to arrange hire of baby monitors, nappy pails, changing mats, cribs, a baby bath, potty, bottle warmer and buggy. For an additional charge, they will supply nappies, toiletries and baby food. The Roby Club allows young guests to make friends and participate in a timetable of activities, offered six day per week. During the main school holidays the R.O.B.Y Club runs for those ages 7 to 12, while the ROBS2 Club entertains teens from 13 to 17 with parties, discos, creative workshops and sports activities.

Thanks to evening shows at the resort theatre, ‘gastro-entertainment’ evenings, live music and performances, you won’t wonder what to do after dark. Adults can also visit the on-site night club a few nights per week.

Dining information

The hotel’s main eatery is BalAyur, named after balance and the Sanskrit word for life. Here, nutritious meals are offered for a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, based on the holistic teachings of Ayurveda. Vegan and vegetarian options are provided, and special diets may be accommodated by contacting the resort before your stay. Once a fortnight, BalAyur hosts Hawaiian-themed Luhana evenings, with entertainment, food and decorations. On the beach, you’ll find an additional restaurant – Breeze.

Four bars include a pool bar, beach bar, tennis bar and the Nite Club, open on select days of the week.

The ‘Full Board Made by ROBINSON’ plan includes a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Coffee is included at breakfast, and a selection of soft drinks, beer and table wine are available with lunch and dinner.
