Universal's Surfside Inn and Suites presents a family-friendly atmosphere, ideal for those seeking a more affordable Universal Orlando holiday. The feeling is relaxed and fun here, with a cool surfing and beach theme which extends from airy rooms to the surfboard-shaped pool. As part of your stay, enjoy Early Park Admission* to select attractions at one of the Universal theme parks up to an hour before opening (valid theme park admission required, select attractions). There's also a complimentary shuttle bus to the parks and Universal CityWalk, resort-wide charge-to-your room privileges, and complimentary merchandise delivery service**.

This resort enjoys proximity to Universal’s top attractions. The complimentary shuttle buses will transport you to and from Universal Studios Florida, Universal's Islands of Adventure and Universal's Volcano Bay, as well as the vibrant shopping and entertainment venues of Universal CityWalk. Other shops and restaurants are nearby on the touristy International Drive, which is just steps away from the resort. Orlando International Airport is about 14 miles away.

Rooms exude a fresh feel with large windows, clean white walls, and light wooden floors with matching furniture. The colourful striped rugs, wave-inspired curtains, and surf-motif artwork fit the hotel’s overall beach theme. Standard amenities include a flat-screen TV, mini-fridge and convenient USB outlets. Two-bedroom suites provide additional space for larger families, sleeping up to six people. After exploring the parks, unwind around the hotel’s large swimming pool. Built in a surfboard shape, the pool is boarded by sun loungers, umbrellas, and lush palm trees. Poolside activities include table tennis and board games. Elsewhere on the property, there’s a modern fitness centre and an arcade games room.

Kids’ clubs for children aged between 4 and 14 years old are available at select Universal sister properties and you can make use of the Mandara Spa® at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel at Universal Orlando.

Dining information

The lively Beach Break Cafe presents a casual food court setup. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, there are separate food stations that serve all manner of dishes, including breakfast sandwiches, burritos, burgers, pizzas and healthy power bowls.

You can also order light snacks and coffees from the Starbucks® coffee shop or head to the poolside Sand Bar to quench your thirst. The pool bar is very active and sociable, providing great views over the lake. A pizza delivery service to your room is available during limited hours.
