Sun Siyam Iru Veli sits on the island of Aluvifushi in the South Nilandhe Atoll, surrounded by white sand beaches and the calm waters of a protected lagoon. You can explore the incredible underwater world as you snorkel around the house reef, or book a range of dive excursions to spot dolphins, stingrays and whale sharks in their natural habitats with the SSI dive centre. This island resort can be reached in around 35 minutes by seaplane from Male International Airport.
The 125 contemporary suites are housed in traditional, thatched-roof buildings and are decorated in cool white tones and tropical shades of orange and turquoise. Each suite is outfitted with modern wood furnishings and nautical-themed cushions and is enhanced by a private outdoor terrace, as well as a private pool. The hotel’s main restaurant, Aqua Orange, serves buffet-style international fare in a sand-floored setting with a lagoon backdrop.
