SH Valencia Palace is a modern hotel, conveniently located close the historical heart of Valencia. The hotel is located in a peaceful area of the city, opposite the Palau de la Musica de Valencia concert and exhibition hall and the beautiful Jardines del Turia – one of the largest urban parks in Spain. It boasts over five miles of vast gardens, waterways connected by 18 bridges, foot paths, ponds, sports areas and perfect picnic spots. Also in the area is the City of Arts and Sciences containing a cluster of futuristic structures, each offering cultural and educational experiences for all the family. The historic heart of Valencia is just over two miles away, where you can stroll around the streets and discover Valencia Cathedral and the Chapel of the Holy Chalice, as well as the Basilica de la Virgen de los Desamparados (Basilica of our Lady of the Forsaken). After which, cool down at the Central Market with a refreshing glass of horchata and some delicious tapas. Valencia Airport is seven miles away.
The property occupies a seven-storey corner building, which features an impressive lobby with a row of imposing white columns, shiny black quartz flooring, large statement hanging lamps and lots of studded leather and velvet sofas and chairs. Rooms and suites are decorated in neutral tones, styled with light wood panelling and bathed in plenty of light from the floor-to-ceiling windows. Standard amenities include a flat-screen TV, a safe, a desk, a minibar and free Wi-Fi. Bathrooms are equally modern. Some contain a walk-in shower, others have a combined bath and shower. Families should opt for a Family Junior Suite which offer a separate living room with a sofa bed.

After a day sightseeing, head to the heated rooftop pool which is open all year round. It’s surrounded by artificial grass and a selection of loungers – in the cooler months, the area is covered so you can continue to enjoy the outdoors. The spa features a water circuit, a Turkish bath, a sauna and a Jacuzzi, in addition to offering a range of treatments and therapeutic massages. On the 6th floor and overlooking the city is the gym, which is kitted out with cardio and weight training equipment. Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel and parking is available on site for a fee.
Dining information
The lower ground floor is home to the breakfast room, where you can savour an array of breads, pastries and cakes, as well as cheese, charcuterie, fruits and yoghurts. Eggs are made to order, plus there’s a fresh orange juice machine and an extensive Nespresso station containing a large variety of coffee pods.
La Terracita del Palace is located on 6th floor providing an enticing menu of tapas dishes, sharing plates, grilled meats and fish. You also have the option of dining al fresco on the charming terrace that’s dappled in sunshine during the day. Delve into a sharing menu at Gold Gastrobar, which includes duck croquettes as a starter, followed by rice, shellfish and broad beans, with chocolate coulant for dessert – or take a seat at the hotel’s Japanese restaurant Hocho for a feast of authentic Japanese flavours. ALAMEDA 32 serves tea, coffees, soft drinks, wines and cocktails in the lobby.
