Executive Club ‘Club World Upgrade’ Promotion

This promotion is only open to residents of the United Kingdom or Republic of Ireland aged 18 years or over, who are members of the British Airways' UK and Ireland Executive Club and to whom this mailing is addressed ("Members"). British Airways Plc ("BA") reserves the right to verify the eligibility of Members.

To qualify for this offer of 2 free return upgrades to Club World from World Traveller ("Reward"), Members must register online at www.britishairways.com/flyclubworld providing the details requested and then book and complete two Qualifying Flights between 23 September 2002 and 30 November 2002 (the "Promotional Period").

A Qualifying Flight is a longhaul return flight, booked on full fare or specially negotiated corporate fare on BA mainline scheduled service with a BA prefixed flight number in one of the following premium cabins and booking classes: Concorde (R, A); First (F, A); and Club World (J, D). Travel on BA franchises, codeshares, alliance and partner airlines is not permitted under this offer. All tickets must be purchased and ticketed in the UK or Republic of Ireland, and all sectors for travel must start and finish in the UK.

Qualifying Flights are subject to availability and capacity control in the booking classes eligible for this offer, and the number of seats available on each Qualifying Flight at a particular fare may be restricted. BA does not accept any responsibility in the event that a Member is unable to book a Qualifying Flight.

Members must quote their Executive Club Membership Number when booking their Qualifying flights and also at check-in for both the outbound and return sectors of their journey.

Members will be notified of the Reward by email or direct mail as soon as reasonably practicable after the Promotional Period ends and in any event before 31 December 2002.

The Eligible Member and his/her Companion must travel on the same flights, at the same time, to and from the same destination with no exceptions. The eligible member must book and pay for two return published fare tickets in World Traveller. The Member and his/her companion will then be upgraded into Club World.

All flights must originate from and return to the UK & Ireland. The free flights must be taken and completed between 1 January 2003 and 30 June 2003.

Eligible Members who have qualified for the Reward must contact the number provided at the end of the campaign to book the Reward flights.

This promotion is not to be used in conjunction with any other promotion, offer or deal, including but without limitation to: (i) redemption bookings; (ii) travel agent discounted fares, inclusive holidays, group discount fares, child/infant fares or senior citizen fares, whether or not booked in one of the qualifying booking classes; or (iii) bookings made with vouchers (e.g. shareholder's discount coupons).

No cash or credit alternative for the free tickets is available.

Once flights are booked no routing changes are allowed.

For the avoidance of doubt, each Member is restricted to one Reward only under this promotion, regardless of the Qualifying Flights booked and completed.

All passengers will be carried by BA in accordance with its Notice and Conditions of Contract as stated on each flight ticket and its General Conditions of Carriage for Passengers and Baggage (copy available on request).

BA reserves the right to cancel and amend the terms and conditions of this promotion, or any flight tickets issued, without notice, in the event of a major catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, earthquake or any actual, anticipated or alleged breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other similar event.

This promotion is governed by English law and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts. Promotional materials form part of these terms and conditions.
