Spending time around the lively Lagoon pool is a particular family favourite. The zero entry pool, 60-foot water tower with seven slides, and the 1,600-foot long lazy river offers fun for all. Plus, there's a splash pool for smaller children. When the kids want a break from the pool, they’ll love the Kids’ Connection programme – offering arts and crafts, gymnastics, safari animal shows and more. The hotel also offers a kids' club for little ones aged 5 to 12 (open seasonally).

You can just as easily find the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The luxury sun loungers by the waterfalls provide a soothing retreat, or there are two smaller adult-only pools. It’s also worth taking the shuttle over to the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa Beach Club and chilling out on the canopy beds or hiring a cabana for the day.

Ame Spa & Wellness Collective offers 22 private treatment rooms and state-of-the-art fitness facilities. Refresh in the water circuit, complete with a steam room, an Himalayan salt suite and a cold plunge. Fitness enthusiasts can choose from a full roster of over 50 group fitness classes, and enjoy a run or leisurely stroll on the scenic fitness path. Plus, there's a holistic wellness centre and a salon.

If golf is your game then challenge your par on two Raymond Floyd-redesigned 18-hole championship golf courses. Practice your swing at the driving range or on the putting green. Then hire an electric golf cart, equipped with GPS, to travel from hole to hole. You can also take private lessons at the golf academy for a charge.

The Bourbon Steakhouse is one of the signature restaurants and headed by a Michelin-Starred chef. Here, you'll find contemporary, stylish, high end dining with a quiet and romantic atmosphere. Head to CORSAIR Kitchen & Bar for American-inspired cuisine in an open-kitchen concept setting with amazing views of the golf course, or dine at Surfhouse, a two storey open grill and pool bar, using market fresh ingredients. At Freestyle, the poolside snack bar, you can grab refreshments while you soak up the sun. Soff's is the lobby bar, order hand crafted cocktails here. A Starbucks and in-room service are also available.
