Loyalty rewarded
From April 2025, we’ve relaunched our loyalty scheme with a new name, and a new look and feel.
We’ve changed the way we support and recognise your loyalty so you now have even more ways to earn tier points and progress through the tiers.
Plus you can now enjoy bonus tier points on all eligible flights and holidays booked with us until the end of 2025, for travel until the end of 2026.

Welcome to the British Airways Club.
Please listen to the following important announcement.
We first started rewarding our customers 40 years ago, and since then a lot has changed. So we’re making changes to better reward you.
No matter where or why you travel, we’ve re-thought the way you earn Tier Points.
They’re the points that help you move up in the Club, from Blue, to Bronze, and beyond. From 1 April 2025 we’ll reward you based on your spend, rather than the distance you travel.
It means you’ll now earn one tier point for every £1 you spend on British Airways flights, minus non-airline fees and taxes.
And you’ll still earn tier points with our partner airlines.
We’ve also introduced new ways you can earn more tier points:
- Paying for extras
- Purchasing a contribution to Sustainable Aviation Fuels (‘SAF’)*
- Booking with British Airways Holidays (where available)
- And using your British Airways American Express® Premium Plus Card (applies to UK customers only)
Plus there’ll be bonus offers to boost your tier points. For example, this year you can earn up to an extra 550 tier points per flight.
Moving up means you’ll unlock benefits like free seat selection and lounge access.
And of course you’ll still collect Avios when you spend with us and our partners, which you can redeem for Reward Flights and experiences.

- Claim Avios and tier points on any British Airways flights flown in the three months before you joined.
- Spend Avios on a range of benefits, such as Reward Flights, cabin upgrades, hotels and car rental.**
- Pool your Avios in a household account with up to six people who live with you, including children, to earn rewards quicker.
- Get the most out of your membership with Inside the Club packed with insider tips, exclusive stories and deals.
